who are we?
We, Gus and Alice are the proud owners of Wedfest and we take the responsibility of being the only locally owned and operated party planners in The Whitsundays very seriously.
“We’ve been fortunate enough to have some pretty amazing experiences in our lives but the week of our wedding, and of course the wedding day itself, was in a class of its own. We were fairly relaxed about our wedding thanks to the help of some amazing suppliers but admit to getting stressed when it came to organising a family dinner and drinks for the night before our wedding, not to mention ensuring all of our guests had somewhere to stay, transport to get around, brunch for the day after… AND as we also had a destination wedding, we were passionate about our guests seeing and experiencing the best of the area”
Hence, the idea of Wedfest was born! As a niche online travel agency and party planner, Wedfest promotes the region's wedding suppliers, restaurants, accommodation houses and tour operators to guests visiting the Whitsundays for destination weddings. We are passionate about, relaxed brides and grooms, guests having a great time and all of the wonderful businesses and suppliers working together to showcase what an amazing destination the Whitsundays truly is!
